We offer three different options for boarding at our busier locations: suites, apartments, and XL crates for when we are completely full. All boarding dogs receive the same level of service and get to enjoy cage free play all day long! We can guarantee that all dogs have comfortable and spacious boarding accommodations while at Puppy Haven.
When must I cancel my daycare reservation to not be charged the daycare no-show fee?
Daycare reservations must be canceled by 11:59pm the day before your reservation to avoid the no show fee.
Why do you charge a daycare no-show fee at your busier locations?
As our company continues to grow, we have adapted our services and policies to align with the changes and needs of the communities we serve. We feel that this policy will encourage our customers to cancel unneeded daycare reservations, opening space for customers on our waitlist. Enforcing a no-show fee also allows us to better predict how many dogs we can expect in our facilities each day, allowing for more predictable playgroup sizes, and in turn, safer playrooms.
Do I need to make a daycare reservation?
Our Brookhaven and Chastain locations require daily daycare reservations, while no reservations are required for daycare at our Downtown Roswell, East Roswell, Johns Creek, and Smyrna locations. Due to our busier locations operating at capacity and having daily waitlists for daycare, we do charge $15 for daycare reservation “no-shows” at our Brookhaven and Chastain locations only.
What is kennel cough? Is it possible my dog could be exposed while at Puppy Haven?
We have developed a separate page for frequently asked questions and answers on kennel cough. Click here for more information.
Do you offer half days for daycare?
No. However, daycare is always half price on Sundays!
Do you require a temperament test for every dog?
Yes. Every dog is required to undergo a complimentary temperament test in order to determine his/her behavior, even if they have been to daycare before. Click here for more information on the requirements to enroll a new dog.
*If your dog has not visited with us in over a year they are required to redo the temperament test before coming in for daycare and/or boarding.

Yes. We require all dogs to be spayed or neutered by 8 months.
What vaccinations do you require and what’s the youngest age I can bring my pup?
We require a hard copy of your dog’s most recent vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP (Distemper/parvo), Bordetella, and H3N2 Canine Influenza. We accept a one or three year Rabies and DHLPP, depending on your vet. We also accept a six-month or one-year Bordetella vaccination, also depending on your vet. As for puppies, we do not have a minimum age to attend Puppy Haven. However, he/she must have completed all three rounds of puppy shots before their visit.
Do you accept all breeds?
We do not permit pit bulls, American bully breed, cane corsos, presa canarios, akitas, boerboels, mastiffs and dogo argentinos. At Puppy Haven, we love all breeds, but also must have certain regulations in place to keep the playrooms as safe as possible in an open pack environment. We do accept mixed breeds.
I have two or more dogs. Can they stay together?
Yes, all of our suites and apartments are large enough to accommodate virtually any size dog. In order to board together, dogs must come from the same household and do well together. If sibling dogs need to board separately, the sibling discount may not apply. Please note that daycare playrooms are based on the size and temperament of each dog (i.e. we cannot guarantee your dogs will be in the same playroom).
Do you have a boarding cancellation policy?
We require a 50% deposit on all boarding reservations. All Boarding Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your reservation, we will add your deposit as a store credit, which you can use at any time.
Do I need to make a boarding reservation?

We do require that you bring in your dog’s food prepackaged in individual bags per meal. If you do not bring food or if your pup runs out of food during their stay, we can also provide house food for $4 per meal.

Treats and bones are always welcome. We only allow toys that are indestructible for safety purposes.
